That is why we build every slab with a properly compacted granular base, air-entrained concrete mix rated for exterior exposure, and control joints placed at intervals that keep cracking predictable and manageable. We do not skip the base prep to save a few hours, and we do not water down the mix to make it easier to pour.
If your existing concrete has heaved, cracked through, or settled unevenly, repair is sometimes possible — but in most cases a full tear-out and re-pour gives you a better result for the long term. Our demolition team handles the removal so the job moves in one continuous phase instead of waiting on separate crews.
